I would like to dedicate this webpage to the late James Zanetti Sr., loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
POEMS:
I can't believe you're actually gone,
I've known you my whole life, 16 yrs long.
Life isn't the same w/o you here w/ me,
So lifeless and so lonely i've been prayin on my knees.
For another chance to make things right,
I think a/b you all day and night.
I love you w/ all of my heart,
I knew we'd be together until death do us part,
Well here we are, apart for a 1st,
I hope you like heaven but i know how much you miss Earth.
You know we miss you as much as you miss us,
I prayed for God to save you but i haven't lost my trust.
I know one day we'll meet again,
He will reunite us and 4ever will begin.
You're 1 in a million, i was so lucky to have you in my life,
I know how hard you tried to hold on, but it was too big of a fight
So He gave you wings to fly above the rest,
And all of us remember He only takes *THE BEST*
Though you lived a long life,
It wasn't long enough 4 me.
You passed away so quickly,
Almost instantaneuosly.
We had no time to say our goodbyes,
Or how much we loved you so,
All we could do is pray for your soul,
And hoped you'd never let go,
This battle was enormus,
Too big 4 you 2 fight.
God said it was time for you 2 go to Him,
And leave the one's you loved behind.
I know you went to heaven,
No second thoughts of going 2 hell.
I hope your soul rests in peace,
And when we see you again im sure you'll have stories to tell.
The days go by slowly,
No sooner could they come,
Then until we are together,
Forever won't have come.
I'll pray for you everyday,
I'll cry tears happy and sad.
And wish you were still here w/ me,
Because you were the best granddad.
He broke a wonderful bond,
Never will it mend.
I will love and miss you forever,
But until I see you,
I'll always feel like I'm missing my best friend.
Pap,
you were amazing...words can't describe how important you were 2 me and the family and how many lives you touched. You made the biggest impact on my life and i'll never forget what you've taught me. I try 2 pass on things like how 2 do the card bridge and twirl the spagetti "italian style". But most of all to be the best person i could be. You inspired me 2 cheer. you were so proud 2 come to those games in your titan gear to support me and chris. We always looked forward to the friday night games b/c we knew we'd see our family and you...our biggest fan.You promised you'd be at my senior rec this fall but you didnt make it. But i know you always kept a promise and i know you'll be there...smilin down from heaven. I promise i'll always be there achieving many things making you the proudest man in heaven. You were truely loved by your family and friends and you will be sadly missed. We reflect on how much you affected our lives and how wonderful you were. I know at funerals someone always says they were a great person. But you REALLY we're the *greatest*. I know one day god will reunite you with all the one's you left behind.
