THE ALIEN DANCE PARTY 'OFFICIAL WEBSITE'
Alien Dance Party was formed in the Spring of 2003. We play in the Salisbury University C0-Rec Intramurial League. The team's nucleus returns from last year and includes Sr's Rob "Diesel" Burton, Alex Chappelear, Justin "DownTown" Brown, Becky Fitch, and DeRidders :*). The team was recruited and is coached by Robby Burton. We are out there to have fun and to do it in a winning style. If you want to know the other reason we were formed just hit the "Why Were Out Here" link at the bottom of the page, its pretty cool!!!
Announcements:
No games will be played this coming weekend. The game for the championships will be next tues or wed, hopefully will be in it. Just one more week of softball so try your hardest to make these next games and lets play it up. "Hey It's All About the T-Shirt" - "Mean" Gene Teat

LAST GAME'S HIGHLIGHTS
All the confusion in these last regular season games is hopefully now over, so lets start playoffs freshened and with a renewed determination to do better. Last games offense and defense lacked the zeal it usually has, but with more people in their usual spots we will do better next week. There was lots of good solid hitting though, especially from Alex, Christy, Deridder, and Erin. Dave and Gene also hit the ball solidly and seem to be coming alive right in time for playoffs. Alex also contributed greatly with his clutch, last batter, bases loaded gran slam. Speaking of homers, Congrads to Cristy "BudWeisner" for becoming the first ADP girl this season to hit a homerun.
The Defensive aspect of our playing was not too great, but had its shining moments. Christy Weisner has to be the defensive player of the game... putting on a major fielding clinic in Left Center field. Gene Teat also had a really nice over the shoulder web gem of a catch, while filling in at Shortstop. Mellissa scouted out our new position of pitcher/ 5th outfielder and played very nicely out there. Are team Average continues to grow and "almost everyone" is slowly coming around with the bats. Lets instead make that "Everyone" these next couple playoff games... so that all our bats are ready by the final games of playoffs. We won the last game, but on the whole that last team hustled and talked to eachother way more than we did... lets take something from our near loss and do these things better!!!
