Profile - Rudy Alba
Allan 'Rudy Alba' Gillan hails from Glasgow and was the main voice of The Worries in the late 90’s and early Y2K. His vocal style ranges from roots to soul and nearly all points in-between! Rudy Alba has a cool-ruler approach to his live performances and seems to glide with no effort on stage.
All those hearing his singing for the first time are convinced that he is set for stardom, an impression that is confirmed as you discover his lyrical dexterity, in 1994 Rudy Alba moved to London where he more than held his own on shows along side TIPA IRIE, ROGER ROBIN and UK APACHE. His vocals and lyrics have been recruited for recording with the Legendary MAXI EDWARDS and a remarkable project together with 18 piece Brazilian percussion ensemble ACORDA POVO.
