Best Cigarettes
One Day Without Smoking
If you’re used to smoking a full pack or even just a few sticks a day, it may be hard for you to imagine a day that you wouldn’t smoke a cigarette. But there will come a time that you will have no choice but to not smoke, not because you need to resist your habit to give way to other matters, but simply because there is no cigarettes around.
One time, we went to an amusement park with my family, and because we all woke up late after we’ve gone from one relative’s house the day before, we prepared hastily without much thinking about what we’re going to carry with us. Fortunately, we didn’t leave anything that we need. It was different for me, however, and leaving my electronic cigarette, although unintentionally, in times like this was not a good idea.
We were going to an amusement park where there’s no smoking area. The place is full of kids and their parents, and it is quite huge in itself. I can’t light up a cigarette not because I didn’t bring a lighter with me, or that I didn’t have any cigarettes. There just wasn’t any vendor selling cigarettes because smoking was prohibited inside the park. I even asked one vendor if smoking is allowed. Of course, I didn’t know about the place being a non-smoking area, and he just smiled at me and said that I could smoke if I wanted to, but I should do my deed secretly so as not to get caught by wandering authorities.
I can’t go outside the park just to smoke, because I need to consider that it’s just once in a blue moon that we visited such park for our son, so I just resisted as much as I can my craving for cigarettes, although there are times that I asked permission from my wife, but I knew what she was going to say anyway, and it was not near a ‘yes’.
How I wished I had brought with me my electronic cigarette, because I’m sure that no one would prohibit such device since it is not really a real cigarette. If I did have my electronic cigarette, I could just light it up without any hesitations even in such place. Nevertheless, our experience as family is still a nice memory to remember, even without my electronic cigarette.
