How about a Round Pool Table ?
Play billiards (pool) on a circular (round) flat-slate table. The pocket (target hole) is in the very center. My BULLSEYE BILLIARD TABLE is more fun, requires less floor-space (minimum 14 ft-sq), costs a lot less, a precision constructed piece of furniture made from fine wood, and every bit as challenging as an expert cueist (pool-player) would expect and enjoy. And yes, I said it is round. Actually invented by George A. Chasley in 1884 (patent no. 296,677) (see www.uspto.gov), I think it was found to be too difficult to build and thus they were not made available. Until Now! As a Mechanical Design Engineer BSME (semi-retired) and having developed a working design for a Round Billiard Table product, I can fully appreciate the obstacles that have to be overcome. Carefully crafted, I have perfected the construction process to result in a 99.999% precise playable-surface table at a very affordable price. I have also assembled a collection of games for the Bullseye. I judge the playing difficulty level to be similar to playing on a 5 foot by 10 foot Snooker table (but the difficulty level can be adjusted). The Bullseye will make you a much better player. 49 inch diameter: $999(US). 62 inch diameter: $1,799. 77 inch diameter: $2,599. (includes delivery up to 100 mile radius and installation). Standard Bullseye table is 34 inches high. Uses standard 2-1/4 inch balls. Removable tabletop (choice of diameter) of matching wood or 5/16 glass is available at a modest cost. The Bullseye Table shown is made from White Pecan/Dark Pecan wood (no laminates). Also available in combinations of White Oak, Mahogany, Light Maple, Walnut, or any durable hardwood.
NOTE: You may highlight the above photo and copy/paste it to a blank page such as *.doc. Then you can enlarge the photo to have a much better view. I made the table for a Univ. of Tenn. fan (Vol Orange) who has the table in his great room where it doubles as a dining and poker table.
May you roll straight and true and may God bless you and yours in this Happy New Year!
