Health Care Committe Minutes
There have been some questions generated as a result of a Health Care item on the Legal & Finance agenda for this week. The Health Care Committee is recommending an improvement to the City prescription drug plan. Up to $3,000 (per person) the insured is responsible for the 25% co-pay. Once the 25% reaches a total of $3,000, per calendar year, the City will pay 100% of the cost of the prescription drug. If approved it will be effective from January 1, 2008. The next step is Legal and Finance and then to the Council for approval. There will be more information coming out on this, but hopefully this addresses some of the initial questions anyone may have.
