It had been a mistake to join the assassination squad. The PeaceKeepers only took at week to find out she was pregnant and the fetus was half-human. They had come in the middle of the night, drugged her and removed the baby. The baby had been placed into an artifical womb and shipped to a secure location. When Aeryn had awoken and discovered what happened she was devasted. They had given her a choice - Crichton or the baby. Aeryn climbed into her prowler and turned around and headed back to hunt down John.
