By this the love of God was manifested in us,
that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world
so that we might live through Him.
In this is love,
not that we loved God, but
that He loved us and
sent His Son
to be the [satisfaction]for our sins (1JOHN 4:9-10).

What we Believe.
God in human flesh
died on a cross
paying the penalty for your sins
by faith in that act
and by his resurrection
you can be saved,
be totally forgiven, made righteous, transformed, regenerated, born from above, born again, a new creation
and your eternal destiny
secured forever in heaven.
Another way to say this is that
we believe the five solas of the reformation accurately reflect the New Testament Teaching of Salvation.
Salvation is
by grace alone
through faith alone
in Christ alone
for the glory of God alone
fully revealed in the Word of God alone.
Salvation is a gift of God.
Our worship service includes
"speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;
always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God,
even the Father; ...Ephesians 5:20.
Our goal is to systematically teach the Word of God.
We believe God's people grow by
the reading, explaination and application of God's truth, one verse at a time.
We believe in expository preaching best accomplishes our understanding of God and
our goal of Christ-likeness.
We believe the pattern for the ministry of the church is that
Jesus gave gifts to His church which today include
evangelist and pastor teachers.
These gifted people are given:
"for the equipping of the saints for the work of service,
for the building up of the body of Christ;
until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and
of the knowledge of the Son of God,
to a mature man,
to the measure of the stature which
belongs to the fullness of Christ.
As a result, we are no longer to be children,
tossed here and there by waves and
carried about by every wind of doctrine,
by the trickery of men,
by craftiness in deceitful scheming;
but speaking the truth in love,
we are to grow up
in all aspects into Him who is the head,
even Christ,
from whom the whole body,
being fitted and held together
by what every joint supplies,
according to the proper working of each individual part,
causes the growth of the body
for the building up of itself in love" Ephesians 4
We desire to help the saints in their journey towards maturity and Christlikeness so that they will do the work of ministry.
