ABOUT EXTREME MUSIC
The term ''art'' refers to the ability of art creation which provokes aesthetic pleasure and recomend the expression and the interpretation of beauty.Also,we mean the artistic representation of reality.The safe recognition of one creation,as a work of art,must be based on specific and conventional criteria,so that practical problems be overcome and artistic creation nit be underestimated.
Undoubtely,every work of art must be the product of free will and creativity in 21st century.Any limitation and cencorship is unacceptable in art.The artistic creation is unique and original;it has absolute and indepentent value.My reference to our century is based on that in Renaissance (16st cent) had already started the gradual indepentence from the religions limits which had been imposed by human's nature to believe in something higher.Therefore,no kind of cencorship should be incured when everything is commercial and in fashion.
Besides,let's not forget that contemporary art tries to find new express ways in its attempt to offer aesthetic pleasure mostly and to import messages.It regrets imitation,even the symbols of reality and its form.It fights to discover ways from its ancient sourses,a worldwide style and a global common language.
For example,music,which for centuries had been object of discussion and reaction,has long been commercialized and it has little by little started to lose its value and its splender.Of course,Ido not refer to the different kinds of music(specifically extreme music:death metal,black metal,noise etc)but to the above mentioned commerce.As we kniw,most people,in Greece at last,consider such kinds of extreme music unacceptable and blameworthy.
To continue,I believe that it is easily understood who the censors are.The crowd among who none knows or doesn;t wanna kniw anything except the ''hit single'' of the season.Undoubtfully,such ''charges'' have been levelleed by men who can't understand the mentality of extreme music(they can't understand the reason).As far as I am concerned the right which is given to these persons is just to express the opinion:''I don;t like it.''So are we.
Also,I would like to mention that I'm not trying to persuade anyone for something or to lessen the importance of extreme music.On the contrary,I mean to elevate it because few persons can understand it and I want to take off my hat to those who are on the other side of the river and believe in the respect of free speech.And this because individual freedom, freedom of expression and outspokennes are one of the greatest human's qualities.It is taken for granted that none critic can cencure these virtues,when he referrs to music which he cannot understand.
To sum up,I want to say this following to our critics:''If art,which we join in and occupy with,was commonly acceptable and had the mass on its side,then all those would be in our position and they would accept our ideology.The number of the funs changes,nooot the value of music.
