ZTV: 'Your Private Decompression Chamber!'
ZTV is the ONLY Sci-Fi comedy in the state of Minnesota! It has been voted the number 1 show in the state for 5 years! The local networks shutter to hear about it because of the amount of money it generates! Owner/Producer/Director, Timm McCoy has created the funniest and most warm-hearted one hour show in local tv history! Just what is ZTV? The first half hour is Sci, the second half hour is Fi! Oh, that doesn't explain it? Ok how's this: The host of the show, The Bug, is confronted by Larry The Hand, The Bugs right hand man, to try a Virtual Reality helmet. Being told, by Larry, about "the bug in the system", The Bug tries the helmet anyway hurling himself into a Virtual space saga. The Bug is then told that he will probably be trapped in VR for months! Archenemy Elmer Philipshead is after The Bug to collect information that would be vital to the exsistance of all in the VR world. Clifford Graham, is the engineroom expert that keeps Bugs ship the "Bugpod" flying! You never really know what is real or not in this fun filled hour of rich comic delight!
The amount of revenue generated by this show is awsome. ZTV hats, shirts, posters, Bugpod models and yes, even CD soundtracks, motivate ProPsychoLuna Teleproductions and Timm McCoy to keep this "gravy spacetrain" flying. During the last ratings sweep of the area ZTV pulled in a 12pt share with a 32 rating making it the most watched show in Minnesota history. It can be seen on KZTV channel 33, also ownwd by Timm McCoy and PPL Teleproductions, Monday nights at 10pm right before "The Grateful Dead Video Hour" with is also produced by Timm McCoy and PPL Teleproductions. Besides ZTV, PPL Teleproductions produces: "The Grateful Dead Video Hour", all bootleg concerts by The Grateful Dead supplied by the late Dick Latvala. "America's Sphunniest Sphincter", which is hosted by Dr. Sphincter (Executive Producer: Timm McCoy) about a Miineapolis "nerd" gone good. It was a total rip on a Jimmy Peveeblefeester character from "old" ZTV programs in the early 90's. The Sphincter shows rank #3 behind "The Dead" at #2 and ZTV at #1! PPL Teleproductions has really made an impact on Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota. If you ever have a chance to see these shows...DO, you won't regret it.
Recently, ZTV is in negotiations with The Burly Bear Network in New York, own by Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live fame, to have Burly Bear purchase 12 shows. Never before has a tv access show gone from Public Access to a Personaly Owned station (ProPychoLuna Teleproductions) to being bought by a network. Keep an eye on this production company...because we hear stock it about to be sold!
