"just a thought"

Time is an ocean,
Life is a sea.
What once was,
Will soon be.

"I"

I-
One-
Alone.
The wind calls my name,
But I cannot go.
I am chained-
I am bound.
My dreams call me,
But I cannot answer,
I cannot go.
The doors are locked,
The windows barred.
My hopes echo in the distance,
But I can barely hear.
My ears are plugged,
The walls muffel the call.
But my belief,
My soul,
My heart-
Are free.
My hopes grow louder,
I can hear them.
I can survive,
I can be free.
My faith grows strong,
My prison is gone!

I am FREE!!

"Twilight"

Twilight comes,
Sending shadows.
In those shadows,
I hide in stilness.

I see my dreams,
Fly by in a blur.
I cannot catch them
They fly away.
Yet still I reach out,
To try to catch them.
Hoping someday,
I will.

"A Truth"

Hardships come,
And hardships go.
Yet through it all-
As I well know.
Friendships stay,
If they are true.
And giving up,
Is the worst thing to do.

"My Shadow Love" formerly "On A Dream"

I see him in my dreams,
He is an equal, he is a friend.
I love him.
He is a dream,
He is night.
A shade,
A spectere,
A shadow.
I see him at night,
Never in the sun.
He is my life,
My sanity,
My hope.
All I long for,
All I need,
Is him.
His shadow,
Is all I have.
He is my other half.
My shadow love.

"Darkness"

The darkness comes,
Light fades away.
And I must end,
Another day.
No light to sear,
The hope away.
It stays and grows,
Till another day.
Moonlight shines,
Asking love to stay.
But he is gone,
With the coming day.
Silently waiting,
My life away.
Hopeing I'll find him,
Someday.

"Shadow Love"

Alone I sit,
Alone I cry.
Wishing we were together,
him and I.
Alone I sit,
Alone I dream.
Wishing he was here,
And what he seems.
Love from the sweetest dream,
Love fashioned from moobeam.
In dreams we sit,
We talk we love.
Cause dreams alone are meant for us.
To see him in the light,
To see him in the day.
I know my joy,
Would come that day.
Love of shadows,
Twilight and mist.
I wish your lips,
I could kiss.
To hold more of you,
Than thought.
Would be a reality,
Dream-wraught.

"My heart sings many songs"

My heart sings many songs,
In dissonance they ring.
The rythm clashing,
With every other song I sing.
Will the dissonance,
Resolve into harmony?
Pure and clear,
Music sweet as honey?
What song,
Should I sing?
Who should sing,
Beside me?
This is the dissonance,
That pollutes me.

"I See"

I see a future,
Both beautiful and sad.
More complete,
Than ever before.
I see you,
looking into my eyes.
I see us,
Holding hands.
I see us,
Together.

"Shadow and Shade"

Heart and soul,
Shadow and shade.
I'll give you my all,
Thats the promise I've made.
Shadow and shade,
Heart and mind.
I will be true,
That's what you'll find.
Shadow and shade,
And love so true.
I just can't stop,
Thinking of you.

"My Heart"

I've given my heart to you,
Without word or thought,
From the first line,
I was yours.
Do you feel the same?
Did you give your heart to me?
You who brought back,
The poet within me.
You who's thought,
Keeps me up at night,

"Stolen"

While holding out my heart for one,
Another snuck right by and stole it.
I never saw it comeing,
I didn't expect it at all.
But it happened,
All the same.
He made me smile and laugh,
When I was crying.
He charmed me,
With prose.
And I fell,
All the way.
And I don't mind.

"The Shadow Damsel's poem"

The Shadow Damsel,
Walked in the breeze.
Trying to live her life,
As she pleased.
But a dareing rogue,
Stole her heart away.
And now she thinks of him,
Every day.
She keeps his words,
Close to her heart.
And in her mind,
They never part.
She walked with her friend,
Yet she walked alone.
In her heart,
Never far from home.
And now longingly
She sighs.
She thanks the Lady,
Of the skies.
For sending her rogue,
To her that day.
Oh what a lovely,
Springtime day.

"To an Internet Friend"

I've never seen his face,
Or heard his voice.
But we've chatted for hours,
And shared memories of our lives.
Together we write a story,
And the words become magick.
So much more,
Than one alone could do.
We've laughed together,
And listened to the others problems.
We'd stay on all night,
Discussing nothing.
And laughing,
About everything.
I hold our friendship,
Close to my heart.
And I pray to the Lady,
That it may last.
I cannot imagine a life,
Not talking to you now.
You are a near and dear,
Internet friend.

"The Hero"

The hero steps out from the shadows,
Ragged and weary from the battle.
Her head held high and proud,
Despite the great trials she faced.
She has overcame them andsurvived,
To win a victory of a kind seldom won.
A victory of the human soul,
Of its determination and resiliency.
She has faced the sorrow of a broken heart,
And emerged on top ready to live on.
She wears the scars of the battle though,
And wears them proudly as she moves on.
They show what she's lived through,
What she has faced, faught, and won.
They are not the deep woonds,
Of one who lost the battle.
She will live, move on, and find love,
And when it is true she will not be scared.
She is already a hero,
And heros have nothing to fear.

From "Valdarin’s ‘Ballad of the Death of Moonsinger’"

Many millennia of joy and pain she’d seen,
A solitairy tear fell in memory of what had been.
Detesting fear and doubt so great,
She stepped forward to meet her fate.
And when she met the beast fierce and large,
Her doubt fell back and the wolf did charge.
Through slash of fang and talon, through blast of fire hot and cold,
Moonsinger Sshan fought, though both weary and old.
And when she found purchase between his neck and chin,
From the new gap fire flew out from the beast’s within.
Then the bodies of the fighters hit the cavern’s floor,
The freed jaguar knew they would breath no more.
As he grieved the loss of teacher and friend,
Slinks-Through-Shadows knew the false tale he must mend.
Thus ended the Moonsinger’s life, giving her the honor of the Great Ones,
And from that honor- and her packname- the name of the Sshan comes.
And why I now spread this World and Reality ‘round.
