Coté (c) Scholarship Management Services
Career Opportunites Through Education, Inc. (Coté) is a national, nonprofit, scholarship management services organization whose mission is to provide professional assistance to associations, corporations, foundations, and individuals in the delivery of financial aid to qualified and deserving students.
Coté designs programs for children of employees or members, students with specific majors, or any other group a sponsor may wish to support. The programs fit sponsor needs, conform to existing IRS regulations, treat applicants in fair and equitable manner, and are cost-effective.
Coté establishes, develops, and maintains a strong working relationship with all clients. The result is an efficient and orderly implementation of the program.
Coté believes that the essence of a successful program is what happens after the contract is signed and that service is the key ingredient.
Coté's service is unequaled because its staff is responsive and well trained. Scholarship program managers are accountable for the entire program - from sending out applications to notifying recipients and non recicipients. Most important, program managers respond to inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
Coté management software can be adapted to meet sponsor needs. Coté generates management reports that: Identify applicants by specific location; list colleges attended and the number and amount of awards at each; provide sponsors with check register.
Coté provides all non-confidential information to sponsors in a timely fashion. A letter, phone call, FAX, or E-Mail will always bring a courteous and prompt reply.
Coté's president has taken part in the development and management of several hundred financial aid programs that have provided millions of dollars to qualified and deserving students. He has taught and held administrative positions (Kindergarten through Post-Secondary) in public and private schools in California, Maine, New Jersey, and New Hampshire. Among his memberships are; The College Board, Phi Delta Kappa Honor Society (Stanford Chapter), life member of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni and Athletic Associations.
Coté IS NOT A SOURCE OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY TYPE OF FINANCIAL AID DIRECTLY TO STUDENTS!
Students, or parents, seeking scholarships or other types of financial aid should contact the Human Resources or Personnel Department where they are employed and ask whether or not the company sponsors a Coté-managed scholarship program.
Students, or parents, who belong to any type of association should ask if the association sponsors a Coté-managed scholarship program.
