In 1999 the top teams in the rugby world are gong to meet in the inaugaral rugby world cup and what better place to have it than in Wales with supporters with only one equal, NewZealanders.
The top three teams backed to win the world are in order NewZealand
Australia and South Africa. New Zealand has just won the Tri series
between the three but then lost it's last game against Aussie.
The hosts are also hot to trot for the cup, under their new coach they have shown great form and have won quite a few games recently, including the prize scalp of South Africa
The pools are spread out evenly with pool B being the tough one with NewZealand Tonga and England in it.
The last world cup was played at South Africa where the South Africans overcame the AllBlacks in a tense final that went into extra time. One dropkick was the difference.
