CHIEFS ANNOUNCE NEW AFFILIATE IN HARRISBURG



In a press conference held earlier today the Philadelphia Chiefs announced that the Harrisburg Gladitators, of the EHA will be their new minor league affiliate... "It's a great move for both franchises" said Chiefs Owner/GM Bobby Simon... "Harrisburg is only 90 miles up the turnpike, if we need to make an emergency call up getting him to Philadelphia will not be an issue." Also at the press conference, Simon named Chiefs assistant coach Chip Snapper head coach of the Gladiators... "Chip is a good hockeyman, he can surely help our younger players grow into becoming great THL players. I have all the confidence in the world in Chip." Snapper who is vacationing with his family in West Wildwood N.J. could not be reacher for comment...

In a seperate news conference Chiefs management appionted Chris McNish Czar of Fun and Games... "Chris will be in control of all the craziness that goes on when the game isn't in progress" said Simon... Asked what his primary job will be McNish had this to say "My primary job is to make sure the fans have a great time, we want to make every game not just a game but an event you want to be at." McNish's first event will be organizing the Chiefs first annual Beef and Beer night to help raise money for Joe Piscopo... "Every year we will be having a Beef and Beer night to help an out of work actor" McNish said... "Next years honoree is already being considered we've narrowed it down to TV's Anson Williams (Potsie from Happy Days), movie star Yahoo Serious, or singing sensation Tiffany." McNish has his work cut out for him!
