Stay tuned as we prepare for the 2006 hurricane season. Learn what you can do.

TODAY'S DATE: 05/01/2006. Hello all and welcome. For those who have been following the progress of New Orleans and the animal victims of hurricane Katrina, you will have noticed a "lull" or absence of information on this site. This was due to a sudden illness which demanded my immediate attention and resources. My sincerest apologies. Having spent 5 months on the front lines in New Orleans, it was devastating on a soul level not be involved directly with these precious, helpless victims.....as I caught "wind" of the changes in New Orleans and surrounding parishes second hand. Thank you all so much for your kindness and support. I am fine and ready to resume these coordinating efforts. Please stay posted as we prepare for the upcoming hurricane season....and push for legislation to prevent a tragedy of such epic proportions from ever happening again.

Most sincerely,

Jeri Palumbo
