LET ALL WHO COME HERE...GO AWAY WITH A SMILEPoetry never written, yet spoken aloud to me.
A smile that wraps my heart.
A laugh that engulfs my soul.
A language of love that reels me.
A voice that thrills my spirit.
A heart so warm I share the heat.
A passion so grand my desires peak.
A mind that intrigues my yearning.
This, my sweet is the poetry never written
yet so wonderfully so freely given.
OVER THE YEARS, I HAVE WRITTEN MANY POEMS. HERE ON THIS SITE ARE SOME OF MY BEST WRITINGS.
Tis Spring Again
By Lynn Cutler
April 1, 1996
Everyday I am amazed by the magical seasons.Everything from smelling the strange exotic scent of the
mimosa as it comes in with the south wind to the gurgling
streams. Magic is seeing the butterfly and watching the
cycle from egg clusters, to little brown caterpillars with
yellow bands, to the chrysalis. The daily changes always
amaze me. What would a summer stroll be without the
butterflies? They are everywhere, over the meadows,
in the backyard and over the hills. Every flower is touched
with the beauty and grace of the butterfly. I am always
in awe of the vibrant hues as they flutter from place to place
across the dew-drenched and lovely gardens. A tiger
swallowtail is basking on the cranberry flower and adds
a splash of dazzling color as he soaks up the sun.
Another beautiful black and yellow butterfly perches
itself on a lantana bloom. I love the summer magic as
I watch the butterflies. They remind me of flying flowers!
