THOMAS N.STEWART
Thomas N.Stewart was born May 10, 1846 in New Bedford,Bristol Co.,Massachusetts and was reared in Baltimore City,Baltimore,Maryland.(In many documents of Thomas Stewart, he states his birthday as August 15, 1849, but his birth record clearly states that he was born May 10, 1846 and his middle initial as F. not N.?) He died December 29,1911 In the National Military Home in Montgomery County, Jefferson Twp.,Ohio and buried there as well. Thomas married Mary Ellen Weyand(also found spelled as Weyant in some records) November 25,1875 in Westmoreland Co.,Bridgeport,Pa.Mary died October 16,1900 of Dropsey Illness at age 43 years old and buried in the Hill Grove Cemetery Connellsville,PA.,Mary was born in Somerset County,PA.,daughter of Simon Weyand and Sarah Yates .Thomas N.Stewart entered the Navy as First Class Boy April 12,1861 Baltimore,Maryland,and discharged May 5,1864 North Carolina.Rank when discharged Landsman.His second enlistment was August 8,1864 Philadelphia,PA. and discharged October 22,1867 New York.His third enlistment was August 16,1869 Boston,Massachusetts and discharged July 25,1872 Boston,Massachusetts.

Simon Weyand was born June 9, 1826 and died April 20, 1881 he was killed at Confluence, Pa. by a train. Simon Weyand's parents were Rev. Henry Weyand, who was born 1782 in Germany and died July 04, 1854 in Middle Creek Twp., Somerset Co., Pa., of stomach trouble and his mother was Margaretha Shultz, who was born June 25, 1787 in Milford Twp.,Pa. and died July 12, 1854 of dropsy. Simon Weyand married Sarah Yates, daughter of Robert Yates, October 5, 1851. She was born September 2, 1831 and died April 20, 1895,age 63 years,7 mos.,6 days. Simon and Sarah are both buried in the Scullton Cemetery,Upper Turkeyfoot Twp.,Somerset Co.,Pa.
In the 1870 census Lower Turkeyfoot Twp.,Somerset Co.,PA. It had listed their last name as Wayand.In the 1880 census had their name spelled as Wiand.Simon Weyand served in the Civil War.He was a Private in Co.G-67-Pa Infantry.He enlisted November 18,1864 and mustered out July 14,1865 he spent 8 months and 4 days in the Military.
They had 12 children.

SIMON HENRY STEWART
Simon Henry Stewart was born March 7,1879;and died May 1,1948 Connellsville,Pa.He married Evangeline "Kate"Stephens.July 22,1898 in Fayette Co.,Pa.,daughter of Edward and Mary (Lewis) Stephens,Kate was born May 12,1882 in Wales,British Isles;died March 10,1963.Both are buried in the Green Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.Simon Stewart was a member of the Brotherhood Trainmen since 1899 and retired in 1944.Simon and Kate Stewart had 7 children:

Charles Henry Stewart was born January 1,1904,in Connellsville,Pa;and died October 16,1958,Fayette Co.,Connellsville,Pa.He married Golden Gladys Dye June 5,1924 in Fayette Co.,Connellsville,Pa.The daughter of John Dye and Amanda Beeman.She was born April 21,1906 in South Connellsville,Pa.'and died March 23,2000 in Uniontown,Fayette Co.,Pa.Charles and Golden are both buried in the Hill Grove Cemetery Connellsville,Pa.they had 4 children:
1.Charles David Stewart,born January 29,1924 in Lonaconing,Maryland and died in Ohio.
2.Ellen Stewart,born 1927 in Connellsville,Pa.married Jesse Hughes.He was born November 9,1926.
3.Melvin Stewart,born August 9,1932;died December 17,1981 in Cagno Falls,Ohio.
4.WILLIAM EUGENE STEWART,born in Connellsville,Pa.He married Elsie Hutchinson February 4,1948 in Cumberland,Maryland,daughter of Robert Hutchinson and Anna Myrtle Cunningham. She was born in Mt.Pleasant,Pa.

6.Wilbert E.Stewart age 9 months 24 days old died September 11,1898 of Cholera infantisium, duration of illness 4 months,buried at the Hill Grove Cemetery.
7.Thomas B.Stewart age 1 month died of spasams October 17,1901,buried at the Hill Grove Cemetery.
HENRY R. STEWART
Henry R. Stewart,was born Abt.1812, unknown where born possibly Baltimore City, Maryland? One census of Thomas N. Stewart, states that both parents born in Massachusetts, and Thomas's Death certificate states that as well. His sister Eliza's death certificate states her parents were both born in Baltimore, Md.)
He married Francis Adeline Creggs in Baltimore City, Maryland on October 4, 1842. Henry R. Stewart was a Copper Smith it seems all of his life.They had 5 children as of 1860.
1.) William Henry Stewart,March 10, 1844 in New Bedford, Bristol Co., Massachusetts. (Record shows parents as Henry R. Stewart, copper smith, and Francis [sic] Adeline Craggs of N.B., Mar.10,1844, in N.B.
2.)Thomas N. Stewart, b. May 10, 1846, in New Bedford, Bristol Co., Massachusetts. (Record shows parents as Henry R., copper smith, and Frances A. Cranes of N.B., May 10, 1846.)Record also has his middle initial as F.
3.)Frank Stewart, b. Abt. 1848, in Baltimore City, Maryland.
4.)Eliza Lyda Stewart, b. August 15, 1851, in Baltimore City, Maryland and died April 30, 1941. Never married.Buried in the Green Mount Cemetery, Baltimore City, Md.
5.) Sarah Stewart, b. Abt. 1852, in Baltimore City, Maryland.
I am looking for any information on Henry R. & Frances Adeline Stewart.Also I am looking for any information on three of their children; William Henry, Frank, and Sarah Stewart. It seems that after 1860 they all vanished. I can't find nothing on them.
