Since 1985 we have been offering guided sea kayaking tours and kayak equipment rentals in Acadia.

Our Maine Kayak Tours
½ Day Tour – 4 Hours – The winds and tides dictate our direction of travel. After a paddling and safety talk with your Master Maine Sea Kayak Guide you will head out at a leisurely pace, past beautiful islands.
Enjoy seals and eagles as your guide skillfully prepares a complementary shore side snack during our break.
This trip is recommended for all skill levels.
8:45 A.M. or 1:45 P.M.
We only offer 2 trips per day; so take your time and enjoy.

Family Format- The 19' Wilderness System " North Stars" are the perfect boat for a family outing , adult in the aft cockpit and the child in the front , this works out well .
What is our minimum age and weight requirements for children ? Every child is different and we know this so , Ask your self these questions:
Can the child sit in a kayak for 2 1/2 hours and be o.k. ? Do they have the energy and enthusiasm for the paddle ? Can they swim; and if the boat tipped could this be something they could deal with ? Are they comfortable near and on the water ? We have never had a tandem boat with an adult and child in it tip ! But we must always prepare for it , parents as well as guide. Sea Kayaking can help keep the parents as well as the kids enjoying a fun family activity together , for years to come.
After taking out hundreds of families kayaking over the years , several have wrote to tell us how Sea Kayaking has become the common thread for their vacation get together.
When booking a trip with any outfitter ask how large might your group be. We take small groups only, to minimize impact on regions we may visit and also to facilitate communication.
We rent" sit inside " sea kayaks. We offer Hydra, Wilderness system, Old Town canoes and kayaks. With every rental you get, sprayskirts, lifejackets, paddles, dry bags, whistles, charts and day and night signal kits .
We rent only to people with previous paddling experience !!!
