- Prepared and prosecuted patent applications in various arts with an emphasis on high tech inventions such as blue lasers, micro gas turbine engines, biomechanical devices, biomedical devices, submicron CMOS devices, superconductors, and artificial intelligence.
- Successfully revived and obtained patents for unintentionally abandoned patent applications.
- Provided patentability opinions, assignments, prior art searches.
- Prepared and filed trademark registration applications.
- Worked with inventors of various scientific disciplines.
- Advised clients regarding intellectual property matters including patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, and licensing issues.
- Presented “Patent Wars” to patent practitioners in Silicon Valley, March 2003.

- Assisted the senior patent attorney in prosecuting biotechnological patent applications as well as trademark and technology transfer related matters.
- Drafted inventor's guidelines to invention disclosure and general intellectual property related policy and guidelines.
