Welcome back from your holidays, dear friends. I wish you all a Happy New Year 2003. May God bless you, your families, your friends and your friends' friends, as we make another move towards the fulfillment of our individual and collective destiny.
I would like to seize this opportunity to express my sympathies and heartfelt condolences to everyone who may have lost a dear one last year. May the Lord God Almighty, eternally merciful, accept the souls of the departed into His Kingdom, and may His peace reign here on earth forever.
You are all invited to join me in JULIO BARTHSON'S WORLD, which is as big - and as small - as the entire universe.

I shall be taking you on a tour of Cameroon, Africa and the whole world. We shall start from the highland grassfields of Cameroon, through the Sahelian plains, the mountain ranges, and the coastal beaches to the thick southern tropical forests. Then we will move across the whole continent.
Then we shall sail together from Africa, across the Atlantic, and land on the East Coast of the Americas. We shall also fly northwards over the Sahara and across the Mediterranean into the Old Continent to visit Africa's former colonial masters.
From time to time, I may invite you into the Land of the Rising Sun to see and hear what the Japanese, and other Asians, think about Africa.
