Dear Harold & Brenda,
thank you for your letter with photo a tape. I
appreciate you really mean it are pretty fast!
The song I like very much though I am not a country
expert. Yes, we'd like to publish the song When the
Whiskey... on www.drogy.sk in part Creativity as the
first contribution from abroad! Including lyrics in
English and Slovak translation, photo, some info and
music itself in apropriate form. I tried all the web
addresses in your leaflet. No success for different
reasons. So if we want our reader to listen to it
directly and seamlessly I suggest to have the song
itself on our website. If you have at hand digitized
the song in .wav, .mp3 or other form be so kind
to email it to me. If not we can digitize the song
from the tape sent. I'll also offer the song to
Center for Treatment of Drug Dependecies as a tool
for artetherapy.
You might not know that country music is quite
popular in Czech and Slovak Republics
and has its own tradition. The magazine Folk &
Country deals with just that. There are several
festivals organized annualy like Zahrada, Porta (in
Czech Republic) and others with audience of 10 000
and more. Didn't you think about taking part?
