PSI Planner - Forecasting Module

PSI Planner software system from Logistics Planning Associates, LLC offers a complete Forecasting module which is fully integrated with its' Distribution Requirements Planning and Master Production Scheduling modules.

The system generates a statistical forecast for each item-location that has been set up by the user (PSI Planner uses regression analysis with a seasonality factor to generate this forecast). The user can then make adjustments to the system generated item-location forecasts and aggregate them to the item-national level. At this point, further adjustments can be made at the item-national level and then be prorated back down to the item-location level.

PSI Planner also gives users the option to calculate item-location safety stock quantities based upon desired customer service levels, and performs ABC analysis nationally or by location.
