Father: William Larkin Reese (b. April 17, 1886; d. 1942).
Mother: Frances (Fanny) Winter Dunn (b. July 6, 1888; d. January 1973) was the daughter of Rev. Zachariah Monroe Dunn and Mary Eugenia Triplett, both from Mississippi.
Rev. Dunn pastored the Bay Springs Baptist Church in southeast Mississippi for 5 years; the New Prospect Baptist Church in Kemper County in 1898; the Salem Baptist Church in Leake County around 1904; the Freeny Baptist Church in Leake County in 1905-1906.

Frances Poole Eidson from Memphis, Tennessee. 8-17-47 to ... Frances graduated from Nicolas Blackwell HS in Bartlett, TN. She graduated from Memphis State University in 1970; from Jacksonville University in 1975, and from Valdosta State University in 1993. She teaches HS math.
She has taught in the following schools: Treadwell Jr. High in Memphis, TN., Joseph Stilwell Jr. High, Highlands Jr. High, both in Jacksonville, FL., Ocmulgee Academy in Lumber City, GA., Humes Jr. High in Memphis, TN. (the school Elvis Presley graduated from), Munford Jr. High in Munford, TN., Bacon County High in Alma, GA., Toombs Central High in Lyons, GA., Vidalia High in Vidalia, GA., Worth County High in Sylvester, GA., Tift County High in Tifton, GA.

Amy Wynne Eidson Smith, 10-16-72 to ...
Amy graduated from Vidalia HS, Vidalia, Georiga in 1990; from Valdosta State University in Criminal Justice in 1995 and worked with VSU in the security department. She is married to Blake Jason Smith, an Air Force 1st Lieutenant, and they have one son, Troy Daniel Smith, 5-5-95,and two daughters: Grace Kathrine Smith, 11/16/2000, and Rachel Wynne Smith, born February 12, 2008 in Keiserslaughtern, German.
They have lived in Valdosta, GA; Tifton, GA; and Columbus, MS; Corpus Christi, TX, where Blake attended the Air Force pilot training school, and Abilene, Texas where Blake was assigned to the Dyess AFB as a C-130 pilot. After serving a tour in Enid, Oklahoma where Blake was an instructor pilot in the T-37 "Tweet", they now reside in Germany for a four year tour of duty. Blake has served in Iraq and in Kuwait.

James Daniel Eidson, 5-21-76 to...
Daniel graduated from Tift County HS, Tifton, Georiga in 1994 and enlisted in the US Marine Corp on December 2, 1996. He took basic training (12/96 to 3/97) at Parris Island, South Carolina; graduated top man in his class (April 97 to October 97) at NATTC, Avionics School, Pensacola, Florida, and was stationed (November 97 to March 98) at NAS Oceana, Virginia for FRAMP school. On March 12, 1998 he arrived at MCAS, Iwakuni, Japan for one year and was attached to MALS-12, UNIT 37-161, AVI WC-630. Presently he is stationed with MALS-31 at MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina. On March 4, 1999 he was promoted to the rank of Corporal, and on May 1, 2000 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. His specialty is aviation electronics radar, I level maintenance, for the F-18 Hornet.
From July 12, 2000 until January 16, 2001 he was back at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan for a 6 month DET. In December of 2001 he was discharged from the Marine Corp and present works for Northrup-Grummond in Warner Robbins, GA. He married to Miss Amy Leigh Bailey on October 5th, 2002. On March 25, 2005 they became the proud parents of Allison Leigh Eidson. She weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces and was born at 6:01 AM on Friday.
