IS A TOTAL IMPOSSIBILITY
PEACE PLANS FOR THE MIDDLE EAST ARE TOTALLY AGAINST ARAB POLICY AND THE VERY PURPOSE OF ISLAM
Any Treaties with Israel, even the "OSLO PEACE AGREEMENT", is a "temporary truce" because the god Allah, in the Koran, wills the total destruction of Israel. This is the crux of the problem.
THE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL IS BASIC TO ALL THE ISLAMIC TERRORISM
THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ MUST BE LIBERATED BUT THERE IS AN OPPRESSOR GREATER THAN SADDAM ---

Saddam Hussein and his regime are responsible for the persecution, torture, rape and death of millions of people, so this barbaric dictatorship must be removed in order to liberate the Suffering People of Iraq, however, the problem is this :- How to eliminate this brutal authority without losing our own moral integrity? It certainly cannot be achieved through military might, even that which is "surgically clean", claiming minimal "collateral damage" and little loss of innocent civilians !
THE TYRANT SADDAM HAS GONE - BUT THERE IS AN EVEN GREATER THREAT TO FREEDOM AND CIVILIZATION
Out of 31 years of experience living in Islamic societies, I have come to fear a possible war with Islam because, according to the Koran, Muslims must kill off Jews, "Infidels" / "Kafirs" and support any other Muslims who are attacked by these whom they consider as vermin. Think of Muslims as all belonging to one theocratic "Nation of Islam" - the international "Ummah". If Iraq is attacked, even those nations which now seem to be partly pro-Western, will inevitably come to the aid of their "Brothers in the Faith" - Iraq - making such a conflict :-
A RELIGIOUS WAR OF ISLAM VERSUS INFIDELS .
Islamic theologians do not determine moral issues according to our Western, Christian-influenced concepts of justice. Ethics, and whether a thing is considered right or wrong, is over-ruled by religious allegiance. Whatever the "god" Allah says is right - is right, even if it be wrong !
The Islamic plan is for all nations to come under the dominance of the Ummah in which "justice" will be administered according to the barbaric Shariah "Law". The presiding Ayatollah with international power like a sort of "Pope", will be the most powerful "human" on earth. Some people think he may be the coming "Anti-Christ" but who knows? It may be a possibility. Anyway, take care and beware of the Islamic cult. It is up to no good.

We do not agree that the U.S. should take unilateral action. The U.N. Security Council must have one final opportunity to speedily implement its directives against Iraq to totally dismantle Saddam's military infrastructure. War should only be a last resort.
It is obvious that, because of the brutal behaviour of Saddam Hussein, even against his own people - particularly the Shiiites and Kurds - and his refusal to comply with the U.N. Security Council resolutions, the integrity of the latter has been violated.
THE REASONS WHICH THE U.S. CLAIMS A PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE AGAINST IRAQ IS JUSTIFIED. WHAT'S YOUR OPINION ?

Sounds to me like an Impossible Dream.

Let us assume that the U.S,. wins the war and replaces Saddam Hussein. Can there be peace? Will the Shiites in the south take revenge for the 30 years of brutal persecution they have suffered under the Sunnis and Baath Party? What about the Kurds in the north; how will they react after the genocide their people have suffered under Saddam ? Even with Saddam out of the way, it will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to have a peaceful, democratic Iraq in the foreseeable future.
It is believed that about 200,000 U.S. and Allied troops will be involved in a possible war with Iraq, with extensive air-power flying 1000 sorties per day against Iraq. Indigenous rebel forces also will be used. Frightening indeed and, tragically, many innocent civilians could suffer, which makes it imperative that a peaceful way may still be found to bring stability to the area.

Iraq's 22 million population comprises 95% Muslims, with the majority being Shiites and excluding the Kurds in the northern areas. The people are dominated by Saddam Hussein and his Baath Party.
