PROFILERS

THE GENERAL IDEA

"To satisfy your financial needs, first satisfy people's emotional needs. Do that and you will never look back." Zig Zigglar

The purpose of PROFILERS is to satisfy people's emotional and sexual needs - the two most powerful forces known to mankind. Literally millions of Australians are seeking emotional satisfaction and/or sexual gratification. All three of us have personal experience of how difficult it is - almost impossible - to meet the person of our dreams. Yet we keep on dreaming.

"Sell the sizzle, not the sausage." Dennis Waitley

Reality is rarely as exciting as fantasy. Fantasy is the "sizzle". Our job is to capitalise on the fantasy of meeting the dream partner - the airline pilot with the 10" dick and a Mercedes, the gorgeous blonde with the 40" tits and a recipe for apple pie. Most people are sensible enough to know that they're never going to find the full monty, but they believe they can get pretty close to it. Some will succeed, some won't, and we will make that clear at the outset. We are not out to rip anyone off, we are here to provide a service which will assist them achieve their dreams and fantasies. Our job is to maximise their chances, and we can do that without a word of a lie.

"I make you one promise, and only one, if you follow my principles you will become more effective in life." Werner Erhardt

And that's all we will be doing. We won't be promising anyone that we will definitely match them with the man or the woman of their dreams. We are not a dating agency. We will say to them, truthfully, "We will offer you certain guidelines and principles which will increase your chances of meeting your ideal partner. We will suggest a catchy handle, open an email account in that name for you, take photos of you for your own portfolio (Sydney only), build an effective web site for you, attract people to your web site, and generally promote you. You will be more effective. Your chances will be enhanced. Your effectiveness will be increased."

"The secret of success is being in the right place at the right time!" Og Mandino

It is always the right time and the right place for such a venture, however, with the Internet at the stage where (approx) half the population is online and half the population not, there is a window of opportunity right now which won't re-occur. Five years from now almost everyone will be on the internet and much of the excitement will have waned. Even so, there will ALWAYS be a need for a service which matches people to people.

"Don't look hither and thither, the opportunity is right here, right now!" Napoleon Hill

Even those people familiar with the Internet and who have been online for years have no idea how to promote themselves. 95% of the people who have contacted Lucy and I cant:

a/ think of an eyecatching email handle,
b/ build even the most basic web site,
c/ acquire a decent (or indecent!) photo of themselves,
d/ spell, write or project themselves
e/ make their correspondence stand out from the crowd.

We'll show them how to achieve all the above. Don't tell me that that won't make them more effective! Though we won't put a figure on it, their chances of meeting someone special will be considerably enhanced. Is that worth paying for, or is that worth paying for?

"Better the Devil you know than the Devil you don't!" Anony mouse

Are we the right team for the job? I think we are. We know each other pretty well, we are familiar with each others strengths and weaknesses. Much of my downfall can be attributed to trusting people I thought I knew but really I didn't know at all.

Angela strengths: Secretarial skills, people skills, computer skills, accuracy, tidy document presentation, friendly personality, totaly reliable, dogged determination.
Angela weaknesses: Slams doors with stained glass windows and shouts very loudly along Marion Street.

Lucy strengths: Excellent telephone manner, friendly personality (usually), advertising genius, photographer, computer literate, totally reliable.
Lucy weaknesses: Dramatic mood swings, hovers somewhere between rational and mad as a March hare.

Kelly's strengths: Ideas, advertising, design, promotion, people skills (Amigos and tranny parties), determination (up to the point where we're flogging a dead horse!)
Kelly's weaknesses: Arrogant, smart-arse prick. Convinced he has all the answers to everything from "What is God?" to "Can you show me the way to San Jose?". Refuses to communicate with morons whose grandmother was abducted by aliens from Pluto and with people whose idea of communication is to WIN at all costs!!!

"The past does not equal the future." Anthony Robbins

We've each come to grief emotionally. However, the past does not equal the future. If we feel that there is a good chance of us working together harmoniously, then we should put past grievances behind us and look forward to a bright new future. I personally believe that we would make a very good team, otherwise I would not be proposing this idea.

"Most people are too busy earning a living to make money." Napoleon Hill

All of us have worked what I call a "treadmill" existance. For every dollar we've earned we've had to put in a great deal of effort. The moment we get off the treadmill the income stops. This was the great attraction with multi level marketing. They used to tell us, "Put in the effort initially, build your network of customers, then sit back and watch the money roll in!" Unfortunately it was bullshit because the company can pull the rug out from under you at any moment, then the pack of cards comes tumbling down. You have no control whatsoever over MLM company decisions.

As I said earlier, we are not running a dating agency, but we are building a data base of people looking for partners. Each customer will get a personal web page, and as our data base grows then their chances of meeting Mr/Ms Right grow proportionately. They will pay an annual subscription fee ($50) to remain linked to our data base.

With this idea, the more the database grows the more money we earn, and then at the end of each 12 month period when subscriptions fall due, we will receive a substantial bonus without lifting a finger. The drop-out rate will depend on how efficient we are at our job. If we don't impress our customers with our efforts they won't renew. Also, ironically, if we succeed in matching everyone they won't renew either! But most relationships will be of short duration and they'll be back. Whichever way the cookie crumbles, if we do our job properly and offer our customers a realistic hope (sizzle!) the annual bonus should grow substantially. We still have to work but we're off the treadmill!

Our individual investments will be minimal, one-third of whatever it costs to set up a professional web site. Plus one-third of whatever we decide to spend on advertising. We don't need an office, not to begin with anyway, we can work from home. We should start receiving a modest income from the business almost immediately, increasing as time goes on.

Speak now or forever climb the treadmill!
