MASTER P BIOGRAPHY
No Limit Records,the #1 rap label in the world,was started by Master P.Master P was born Percy Miller in the Calliop Projects of New Orleans Louisiana.he was one of 5 children. At 11 his parents divorced.from age 15 on he shuffled betweenbetween his mother in Richmond ,Cali. & his grandmother in New Orleans..He went to catholic school in 7th & 8th, but he transforred to Booker T. Washington High in New Orleans.After he got a scholarship to the University of Houston,he suffered a knee injury & the scholarship was taken away.Then he moved back to Richmond,Cali,& studdied buissnes at Merrit junior collagein Oakland.In the late 80's he recieved $10,000 from his grandfather after he died.Then he started a small recoed store called No Limit Records in Oakland.His first CD was "The Ghetto's Tryin' To Kill Me"But with a lot of success comes negativity.A teen pleaded the Master P song "211" urged him to rob a store.But that couldn't hold No Limit down.The fist gruop in No Limit was TRU(his brothers Silkk the Shocker,C-Murder,& Master P).It was tittled TRU,it sold more than 200,000 units with no major advertisment,& that started the rise of No Limit Records!
