DECLARE PAKISTAN A TERRORIST STATE

Fazal Karim and Ted Galen Carpenter are diametrically opposite personalities, both in character and vocation. Karim is a terrorist and Carpenter an academic. Both have, in the recent times, pointed out how Pakistan is fast becoming a terrorist State.
First, Karim. He is a resident of Rahim Yar Khan in Karachi, a father of five, and not even known in Pakistan to merit any mention in the Indian media. But there is a reason I have picked up his story. Fazal is in the custody of the Sindh Police, but not yet formally arrested for the murder of the American journalist, Daniel Pearl. He is the one who led the police to the anonymous grave in a nursery garden where Pearl's remains were dug up. He is the same man who delivered a video compact disc containing images of Pearl's murder, with a note that the body would be found in 10 pieces.
I am more concerned about what he told his interrogators. These can be broadly categorised as the following:
One, several different groups of Arab origin, along with Pakistani nationals, have formed suicide squads to attack Americans and other Westerners working or staying in Pakistan. Many of these groups are located in and around Karachi.
Two, one of the groups is led by Lashkar-e-Jhangvi's Naeem Bukhari, wanted in more than a dozen cases of sectarian killings.
Three, these groups have merged operationally with Al Qaeda to carry out terrorist activities within and outside Pakistan.
Frankly, what Karim told the Sindh Police about the regrouping of terrorist and religious extremist groups has been known to India for sometime, and these apprehensions have been, at regular intervals, conveyed to responsible governments in the Western hemisphere with hard evidence like satellite maps, signal intercepts and various other highly reliable intelligence inputs. The last two confessions of Karim are, at this juncture, of extreme significance. The first is about the leadership of these ragtag groups being taken over by religious extremist groups like Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. Jhangvi is a rabid, anti-Shia, Deobandi group of terrorists who have been ruthlessly indulging-not without the knowledge and, at one time, blessings of President Pervez Musharraf and his army-intelligence cabal-in killing Shias. Shias are believers of a more liberal interpretation of Islam and are therefore a minority in Sunni-dominated Pakistan. Jhangvi and the Sipah-e-Saheba have taken it upon themselves to cleanse Pakistan of all Shias whom they consider not as 'Pak' (pure) as Sunnis.
Jhangvi has direct links with the Taliban and, therefore, with the Al Qaeda and other terror groups like Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Toiba. In fact, Jhangvi and Sipah are products of the innumerable madrasas that have mushroomed in Pakistan over the past five years. The only difference -and it is no less diabolical-is that these religious groups have finally merged with an insidious network of terrorists, working independently within the geographical limits of their influence but drawing inspiration and guidance from the Al Qaeda. The church blast and the suicide bombing of a bus in Karachi are clear pointers to an emerging coalition of terror groups within Pakistan. Karim's warning about suicide attacks on foreigners living and working in Pakistan is therefore quite grave.

Once a Muslim Community reaches a majority status in any given Free, democratic nation, that Community will demand it's own "Parliament" (e.g. in Britain - which already has this problem) and, although the State may not allow it to function legally, the "Parliament" will seek to impose the barbaric Islamic "Shariah Law".
In Islam, there is no division of "Church and State" - Islamic Law and the State Law are one. If Islam gets its way, floggings, amputations and beheadings for "sin", which come from the mind of the "god" Allah, could become part of your own "legal" system.
