Episode Guide of Seasons 1-5 of Sliders.
This is a summary of all the episodes from seasons 1 - 5.
SEASON 1
Pilot (part 1)-This is where it began. A University student by the name of Quinn Mallory discovers Sliding (which is a way to travel between Parallel Universes.) by accident while doing an Anti-gravity experiment. He tells his university professor (Max Arturo) his friend at a computer stall (Wade Welles) and after a while decide to try the new discovery out. Quinn activates the vortex and upon increasing the power the vortex swallows them up then travels through the basement wall to also swallow a singer travelling in his car outside (Rembradt Brown) They land on a parallel earth which is a frozen wasteland. A tornado threatens the lifes of the sliders, so Quinn activates the vortex before he should and corrupts all the data in the timer, so they are sliding randomly and can`t find a way home.
Pilot(Part 2)-The Sliders discover they didn`t slide home, but onto a parallel earth where America is ruled by the Russians. One thing leads to the next and Remmy is jailed for trying to use American money. The other Sliders join the underground resistance group to free Remmy and also Wades double from that earth. They finally slide out of this world into what they think is thier home earth, but it is`nt...
Fever-The Sliders slide into a world where penicillan wasn`t invented. Plus Quinn is mistaken for his double of tht world, where the double is patient zero for spreading a disease. Arturo invents a cure for the disease.
Last Days-The group land on a earth about to be hit by an asteroid, but the problem is the sliders slide after the impact. So a way is solved to divert the asteroid from that earth.
Prince of Wails-Quinn, Wade, Arturo and Remmy land on a earth where America is ruled by England and Arturo has to stop his double from causing trouble.
Summer of Love-The Sliders land on a earth ruled by hippies. America and Australia are at war.
Eggheads -In this earth intellectuals are revered above athletes.
The weaker sex-This world the roles of male and female are reversed. Females work and males stay at home.
The King Is Back-This earth is like a dream to Rembrandt where he is a big star.
Luck Of The Draw-This earth you can get money from Atomatic Teller Machines without having an account. The lottery here involves the more money you get the better the chances of winning, the winners are treated like royalty, but this lottery is a way of population-control and if you win you die.
Season2
Into The Mystic-On this world while searching around for a doctor to help Quinn, the sliders discover it`s a world fill of witchcraft.
Lovegods-In a world with a shortage of males because of a chemical released into the atmosphere that attacks Y cromozones, Wade has to rescue the male sliders from a re-population center where the males are used for breeding. Because Australia is so far away from the affects of this chemical, it is powerfullest nation.
Gillian Of The Spirits-When leaving one earth to travel to the next the vortex gets hit by lightening sending Quinn to the astral plain where no-one can see him except one girl with psychic powers.
The Good, The Bad And The Wealthy-The sliders land on a world full of gunslinging lawyers.
El Sid-A world where San Francisco is a prison facility where a big earthquake is due to hit.
Time And Again World-On this earth the events seem to mirror events on the earth before and Wade uses this to prevent a murder.
In Dino Veritas-The sliders slide into a world where dinosaurs still exist.
Post-Traumatic-Slide-Syndrome-The sliders think they are home again, but arturo takes the credit for inventing sliding. The real arturo is tied up in a basement somewhere. This episode is told by Remmy telling it to a psychiatrist.
Obsession-Wade has a dream, but the man of the dream is real in the next word and he is convinced that Wade and him were lovers in a past life.
Greatfellas-A earth where gangsters take over America and Rembrants double was a legendary crimefighter.
The Young And The Relentless-A earth where the young rule.
Invasion-The sliders meet the Kromaggs(A differently evolved human being from a parallel earth) for the first time in this episode
As Time Goes By-The sliders slide through 3 different worlds, where on one the Spanish rule America and on all 3 Quinn keeps on bumping into his old love. On the last world time goes backwards where Quinn has to prevent his old loves murder.
Season 3
Double Cross-This earth Quinn has to fight his double(which is a female) from inventing sliding to steal resources from other parallel earths.
Rules Of The Game-The sliders must compete in a real life endurance game if they want to slide out of this earth alive.
Dead Man Sliding-A world where trials are decided by game shows where the sliders must save Quinn from execution.
Electric Twister Acid Test-This earth has unstable magnetic fields causing tornado`s to be produced alot. But there`s a community which has managed to avoid these tornado`s by not using electric equipment. But the sliders don`t realise this and they get into trouble for thier ignorance.
The Guardian-Quinn gets to see himself when he was younger, but they don`t travel back in time. Instead the earth spins on its axis faster causing time to go slower in this world.
The Dream Masters-The sliders fight dream-masters who rule this earth by entering peoples dreams.
Desert Storm-On a desert world the sliders must save a girl who can detect water and knows the position of a underground water source.
Dragonslide-The Sliders must save a woman in a world ruled by the druids.
The Fire Within-After visiting a firy world for a few seconds the sliders transport an alien creature who chooses the form of fire to manafest itself, through the vortex. The flame and sliders land in a world where the oil company and union workers are fighting in a dispute.
The Prince Of Slides-A world where an epidemic prevents woman from carrying a baby beyond the 5th month of pregnancy, so the men have to carry the babies to they are born. When Remmy is mistaken for his double, he has to become pregnant with that doubles wifes baby.
State Of the A.R.T-In a world of robots, Quinn and Remmy are guinea pigs for an experiment for the transfer of conciosness from man to robot.
Seasons Greetings-The sliders spend thier christmas in a world where subliminal messages are played on t.v to encourage everyone to spend more. A woman dumps her baby onto the sliders because she has a massive debt on her credit which she can`t ever pay back. Wade learns her double died and she has too warn her sister of the corrupt system of this world she`s involved in.
Murder Most Foul-Arturo is hypnotised to think he`s sherlock holmes and has to find a stalker in the theme park.
Slide Like An Egyptian-This Earth the Ancient Egyptians still rule and Quinn is subjected to an experiment on the after-life where he has a near death experience.
Paradise Lost-On this world an creature in the caves of a town produces a substance that when eaten kepts people looking young, but it has to be kept alive with human sacrifices.
The Last Of Eden-A earth going through an unusual planetary allignment with a underground city with unusual creatures in.
The Exodus (part 1)-On this world pulsars are threatening the earth with radiation and the sliders have to find a new world for the people of this world to live.
The Exodus (part 2)-The sliders find a world suitable enough for the people of thier doomed earth. But Maggie has to avenge the death of her husband at the hands of colonel Rickman. Also Arturo Dies saving Quinn. Maggie joins the group.
Sole Survivors-On this earth a virus turned the inhabitants into zombies. The Sliders have to search for an antidote to the virus when Quinn is infected.
The Other Slide Of Darkness-The Sliders on the revenge trail after Rickman, track him to this world where natives live in a poisonous fog.
The Breeder-Maggie is infected with an alien creature on one world which the sliders discover on thier next world is a symbiont creature which is only interested in using Maggie to help find males to help it breed..
Slither-On this world the Sliders must fend off killer snakes.
Dinoslide-The sliders land on the world where they decided was habitable for the people of the world destroyed by pulsars. But the sliders didn`t know that those people were being hunted by dinosaurs.
Stoker-A world where the rock band is a bunch of vampires trying to recruit wade so they can turn her into one of them.
This Slide Of Paradise-A world where the Sliders tracked Rickman, but Rickman is the leader of the rejected experiments of animal/human hybrids of the local scientist. Last time we see rickman. Maggie and Quinn get separated from Wade and Remmy.
Season Four
Genesis-After three months of sliding Quinn and Maggie find Remmy in a kromagg re-education center, but Wade`s not there as she got shipped of to another parallel earth to a kromagg breeding camp. They save Remmy, vowing to find Wade, plus Quinn has a brother (named Colin) to find as he learned from his mother (who is actually a double of his real mother) he has one.
Prophets And Loss-The Sliders discover people are being incinerated to death, but find it difficult convincing the local population that it isn`t a religious experience.
Common Ground-On this earth the Sliders discover the Kromaggs are doing tests on a machine which targets human DNA, so they can get rid of all humans on all dimensions forever. It`s up to the Sliders to stop the kromaggs.
Virtual Slide-In a world dominated by virtual reality the sliders are tricked into supplying this world on how to develop sliding technology. They must stop this world from finding out how to slide.
World Killer-Quinns double accidently slides everyone of his world. Because of this, that world has massive population problems. Quinn has to work out how to set things right.
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? Quinn finds his brother.
Just say yes-On this world drugs are mandatory.
The Alternativeville Horror-After entering this world an acid rainstorm starts forcing Remmy, Quinn, Maggie and colin into a haunted hotel. In the hotel they start to see ghosts, but Quinn theorises that it`s people stuck between dimentions. He`s right and sends the people to there own dimension.
Slidecage-The sliders get stuck in a slidecage when they try to get to Quinn and Colin`s homeworld. This is a device to protect the kromaggs from invading, so when anyone tries getting to the homeworld they are rerouted to the slidecage. But the sliders find out the kromaggs and humans are fighting a war here, so they must stop the fighting and find a way out of the slidecage.
Asylum-On a world where the kromaggs have depleted the world of resourses, the one person who can help Quinn is wanted by foriegn secret agents.
California Reich-On this world people of colour our sent to detention camps by a nazi-like organization. Remmy is spotted and sent to a detention camp and he must get free and the sliders must expose the true nature of the organization.
The Dying Fields -The sliders meet half-human, half-kromagg warriors (called hu-maggs) in a training exercize for hunting humans. The humans are told they will be free if they survive it for 20 days, but the hu-maggs lie. The Sliders have to convince the people of this and to fight back.
Lipschitz Live -After being separated on a world, Quinn has to alert the other sliders to his whereabouts from a tv show(that is the only show on the air and which has transfixed this earth.)
Mother & Child -On this world, when a woman named Christina escapes a kromagg breeding camp, the sliders hope that Christina can help them find Wade (which was Christina`s freind in the camp.) However, they are forced to slide to Christina`s homeworld with her and her baby, (which is half kromagg and half human) without finding Wade. A kromagg is sent to follow them in a protective suit (as on Christina`s homeworld the air is poisonous to kromaggs) to kill Christina and recapture the baby.
Networth -The sliders are separated on this world. Quinn and Rembradnt land inside a glass tower where everyone is online (live off the internet) and Maggie and Colin land on the side where offliners (people who hate technology) live. They have to find a way to get back together before the next slide. They help a offliner and a onliner fall in love on the way.
Slide By Wire -From a militaristic earth (where u.s.a and russia are fighting) the sliders slide with a double of Maggie (whom wanted to escape her world where she flew a fighter plane through a direct cybernetic link to her brain like vitual reality) and left the real Maggie behind(and if her lack of a link is discovered, she will be executed.) The sliders discover their mistake and go back to fix things and rescue the real Maggie from death.
