A Family in troubled times!
About 2 years ago, my Husband was diagnosed with a condition known as Severe Dilated Cardiomyopathy. His heart can only pump about 20% of normal. He is taking about 15 different medications daily in hopes that he will survive long enough to get a heart transplant. He's only 35 and we've been Married for 15 years. I would simply be lost without him.
He can no longer work or do many of the things he used to. I work very hard to make sure he gets what he needs, but the costs for medical care and medications are extremly high. So high in fact, it's exeeding what I can earn!
Since this began, we've lost nearly everything we owned. To make matters worse, we have two Children.(an 8 y/o and a mentally challenged 13 y/o) They have been extremly understanding considering there age.
I could care less about the material stuff, but to watch somebody you deeply love slowly die right in front of you is more than person can endure.
I will do anything to make sure my husband lives long enough to get a new heart, even beg for money!
