256th. Signal Co. (SPT)

PLEASE SIGN OUR GUESTBOOK...HELPS OTHERS WHO MAY WANT TO CONTACT YOU.
This site is dedicated to those who served with the 256th Signal Co. (SPT) from its beginning in Verdun until being disbanded. For many of us, Verdun was our gateway to manhood, forging friends, experiencing a new country and a new culture. The 256th was both exciting and boring, but France was an adventure and its people, for the most part, friendly. The website has been populated with photos from the personal archives of people who served in Verdun and Metz. We encourage you to submit photos for inclusion, we would like to see anything from the various depots, Toul, Nancy, Metz and Verdun, plus any location where the 256th had a presence. Wherever possible we would like to identify those individuals shown and their assigned areas. We hope to provide an organized approach for viewing. The 256th may be gone, but CERTAINLY not forgotten. We see this as a means to reconnect with our past. We had many friends in other units and we will not limit this site to just the 256th, we will recognize other units be it the Band, the MPs, Engineers...any one. Please submit any information to: 256thsignalco@gmail.com
