This site is dedicated to those who served with the 256th Signal Co. (SPT) from its activation (1960) in Verdun until being deactivated in 1967. Photos are from the personal archives of people who served in the Verdun area. We encourage you to submit photos for inclusion, we would like to see anything from the various depots, Toul, Nancy, Metz and Verdun, plus any location where the 256th had/has a presence. Wherever possible we would like to identify those individuals shown and their assigned areas. We see this as a means to reconnect with our past. We had many friends in other units and civilians off-base. We dol not limit this site to just the 256th, we're happy to include the other units be it the Band, the MPs, Engineers...any one. Please submit any information to: 256thsignalco@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE THAT EACH SUB-PAGE HAS A GALLERY DEDICATED TO THAT HEADING.
