1217 was created with the objective to define, develop, and expose unsigned musical talent in the Washington, DC area. Marlo King and Yvette Travillian decided to form 1217 due to their similar ideas on artist development as well as their dedication and passion to have a successful career in the music industry.
1217 is currently searching for an extremely talented female vocalist who is ambitious, devoted, driven and skilled in the area of songwriting.
