Isn’t it about time we had another of those ‘General Election’ thingies?
Back in the old days they seemed to happen every five minutes. But somehow or other it feels like we haven’t had one now for absolutely ages.
And this, what d’ye call it, ah yes, this ‘Government’ seems to have been going on since the jolly old world began, what?
I can’t quite see why all these politicians don’t just put their heads together and agree to have a thumping great General Election right now. A real tonic for the country, don’tcher know?

Hi Peter. Glad you approve, and apologies for the five-day hiatus in postings. Being a ‘hard-working family’ takes a lot of hard work, especially when there’s only one of you. Sorry to hear of your lack of a fire. When we come to power we shall promote CHOICE, i.e. you will be permitted to CHOOSE which type of fire you’re not going to be able to afford.
