Time allowed: five hours, or however long it takes you to skim through forty-eight out-of-date dog-eared glossy magazines while fretting quietly, whichever is the more annoying
1. Either, (a) State the characteristics of a transversely impacted premature canine molar. Or, (b) Go screw yourself.
2. ‘Dental nurses never smile.’ ‘Dental nurses are paid one-eighth of the minimum wage.’ Is there a connection between these two statements?
3. ‘Mmmph – mphh – gnaar – gnaarhh – gnOARRHHHH.’ (TENNYSON, during a dental appointment) Do you agree?
4. ‘My biggest mistake was having cosmetic dentistry on my legs.’ (ZSA ZSA GABOR) Discuss (jeering allowed).
5. Have you ever flung yourself from a cliff, thought better of it, reversed in mid-air, levitated back to the cliff top and accidentally knocked out the teeth of a small girl whose father happened to be a particularly vengeful member of the Mafia? (If so, you won’t be in a position to answer this question.)
