Your WebSpawner site will have a specific address that can be used by anyone who wants to visit.

However, if your visitors don't know that address by heart or have never heard of your company you still want them to find you! This is when search engines become your best ally. Some of the most popular search engines include Google, Yahoo and Bing. You most definitely want your website to be listed on these search engines so that a larger amount of visitors can get to you.

With the following WebSpawner elements you can make your site pop in search engines:

- Use the Optimize Page (SEO) tool in Your WebSpawner Account.

- You can also enter Keywords and a Site Description by clicking on the Site Settings Tab and on the General section.

Search engines will categorize your site in a much better and faster way when both of these elements have been properly used.  The Site Description is what will be displayed as the description for your WebSpawner site in your search engine listings.

Your Site Description should not be too long while still providing a detailed description of what your site is about.

Your Keywords should be somewhat targeted and also be consistent with the words you use on your site.  If you use different  Keywords than those found on your site content then they will not work in your favor. These Keyword will be helpful with search engines only if they are words you actually use throughout your site, mainly in Title areas.

If you fail to use Keywords in the right way, search engines will believe that your site is bogus with a great deal of irrelevant Keywords and ultimately they will just ignore them – and your site!

You can also add Keywords and a Description for each individual page on your site.  You can find these under Pages.
