Changing the Layout

Change the Layout of a Page with the 3 Column Element

In the following tutorial, Chuck shows us how to change the layout using the 3 column feature. He uses the term 'blog' instead of website only to remind you that your website can also be converted into a blog. The 3 column feature works either way.

Take a look:

You'll be able to add different elements like text, images and more side-by-side in multiple columns.

With the 3 Column Layout element you'll be able to drag your elements on to the page.  Your different elements will be stacked above or beneath the other elements that you've already placed on that page.

You can change the number of columns you want by clicking on the yellow box and choosing the  number of columns. In addition, you can drag the bar to the right or left to increase or decrease the size of a column.

If you wish to add content to one of these columns, you must simply drag&drop the content into the column you want.

Each column can have as many elements as you wish. You'll also be able to place other elements above or below the three-column layout.  Go for it!

Let's continue making alterations to our theme!
