<AREA> CLIENT-SIDE IMAGE MAP (cont'd)

Description:

A necessary part of the tag. With this tag you specify the areas that are hyperlinked in an image and where they go.

Attributes:

shape - determines the shape of the hyperlinked area; can be rectangle (rect), polygon (poly), circles (circle), and default (default).

coords - sets the coordinates of the area. For a rectangle and they are given as "left, top, right, bottom" and a circle is defined as a center point and then a radius.

href - stands for "hyperlink reference". References the page or the action that the hyperlinked area is to do or go to.

nohref - specifies the area is not to be hyperlinked anywhere.
